Please Note:
AppRiver is migrating the IP address of 66.216.94.13 to 66.216.66.5.
Unfortunately this IP change is unavoidable. This change is required to upgrade
to newer hardware which will allow us to provide more features. You can make
this change at anytime as both IP addresses will continue to pass mail for the
next 3 weeks.
This will affect customers that have custom MX records and inbound SMTP limits
on their firewalls. By custom MX we mean your MX records look like
spamfilter.yourdomain.com which in turn points to 66.216.94.13. You will need
to update your DNS point the custom MX record to 66.216.66.5. If your MX
records are standard, as in appriver.com or www.appriver.com, you do not have to
do anything.
If you have firewall restrictions setup to only allow inbound SMTP from our IP
addresses you will need to add 66.216.66.5 to the allow list. You can leave
66.216.94.13 in there for another week or so in case some mail continues to come
through the old IP address.
You can check your MX records web based by going to
www.zoneedit.com/lookup.html
